In interim budget 2019, PM Modi has announced a new scheme for small farmers, named as Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna (किसान सम्मान निधि योजना). This scheme has been presented keeping in mind the small and marginal farmers.
The Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will benefit the 12 crore farmers of India but it is necessary for you to know, who will be eligible for this,
If you are eligible then you will be given a benefit of Rs. 6000 per year on behalf of the Indian Government.
What is the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
On February 1, the Modi Government presented its interim budget, in which the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started for small and poor farmers, Government will provide annual assistance of Rs.6000 to the farmers, who have 2 hectares or less land.
This scheme has been started from December 1, 2018, a budget of Rs. 75,000 crore has been kept by the Government of India for the scheme.
Let us tell you that under this scheme, landless farmers have not been included and as well as farmers having more than 2-hectare land have not been included, hence this scheme will benefit especially small and marginal farmers.
In this scheme, the help of Rs. 6000 will be given to the farmers in 3 installments, which will be received directly by the beneficiary farmers in their bank and this will be of 2000 thousand rupees, the first installment will going up till March 31.
Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme Eligibility
1. This scheme will benefit the small who have 2 hectares of land or less.
2. Eligible Farmer should have a bank account, the amount will be sent directly to their bank.
3. The bank should be linked with Aadhar Number.
4. The farmer’s land documents and one mobile number should be with him.
5. People who are earning more than ten thousand rupees are not included in the scheme.
How to Apply for Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna?
